Designed to give parents peace of mind, SafeBaby Pillow is a proprietary multi-sensor wedge pillow for newborns that monitors their key vitals and notifies parents via a phone app should anything be amiss.

Specifically, the pillow includes the following sensors:

• Microphone
• Accelerometer
• Thermometer
• Magnetometer
• Pressure meter

To avoid false positives/negatives, the readings from each sensor are fed into an AI-powered module that analyzes them and determines the baby’s safety. For example, if the microphone is picking no sound, it may mean that the baby is not sitting in the right place. The pressure meter will check if the latter is true before alerting the parents. Likewise, the thermometer will check that the baby is properly covered.
